This evening Andrea (our Education Corodinator) hosted a pre show meeting with Drama Teachers from all over Merseyside. Frank Cottrell-Boyce (the writer of Proper Clever) spoke to the group about the play (he’ll be interviewed for this site in the next few days so do keep visiting). I went in to tell them all about this site and the work of our wonderful team of digital journalists. They all seemed really interested to find out more, so hopefully they’ll be logging on soon and telling their students too.
Tom, Luke and Rachel covered tonight’s preview performance and have gathered some insightful interviews and some excellent photos. Great work guys. Despite a delayed start (due to a cherry picker putting up a banner and blocking our emergency exits), the show went down really well with an enthusiastic audience of all ages.
